Little Eye release their debut single Burgundy Sky

Scotland’s newest power pop band Little Eye release their debut single Burgundy Sky this month. The bands front man Allan Sieczkowski is brother in law to ex Celtic player Jamie Smith, now top striker for the Colorado Rapids. Allan penned the track after being invited to watch the Rapids win the MLS cup last year, they beat David Beckham’s team La Galaxy in the process. The Rapids will be using the Little Eye track to promote the team as this year’s season opens. Burgundy Sky is currently receiving major radio and television airplay throughout the state of Colorado.

Little Eye

Little Eye, the five piece power pop band were formed last year by Glasgow singer/front man Allan Sieczkowski. Since then, they have been writing and recording their debut album to be released summer 2011. Burgundy Sky is the first of two singles to be released from the album. The band have also filmed two music videos, one set in stunning urban New York, and the other a live acoustic studio version of Britney Spears’ song hold it against me, both receiving thousands of hits on YouTube. Little Eye are preparing for a UK tour. They will be playing at the Colorado Rapids stadium and subsequently performing throughout the state of Colorado later in the year.

Winners of the Young Scot Award unsigned band of the year

Little Eye were recently voted Scotland’s best unsigned band of the year, they will be receiving their award on 7th April at the Young Scot Awards ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton. Little Eye will be performing alongside such acts as X -factor winner Olly Murs.
